In particolare, l'Associazione mira a creare le condizioni quadro ideali atte a supportare le aziende del settore già esistenti nella regione e ad attirarne di nuove, ad accrescerne la competitività, ad incrementarne il grado di innovazione, dal profilo sia del prodotto dia dei processi di produzione, nonché a facilitare alle aziende l'accesso a manodopera qualificata. L'Associazione non persegue fini di lucro e non svolge attività a carattere commerciale.
